Auralys is a music social network where you discover, rate, rank and share the tracks you love with your friends. Instead of your listening staying locked inside a streaming app, Auralys turns it into something social: you review the songs you hear, build your own all-time ranking, join clubs with people who share your taste, and play music games together. It runs in your browser at auralys.app, it is free, and you can create an account in under a minute.

What you actually do on Auralys
Most music apps end at the play button. Auralys starts there. When you listen to a track, you can write a short review of it, give it a rating, and see what your friends thought of the same song. Your home feed shows the tracks your friends are sharing, what they are rating highly, and what they are arguing about in the Community tab. It feels less like a streaming service and more like a group chat that never stops talking about music.
That is the core idea: your taste becomes visible. Friends can see the songs you rate, the rankings you build and the discoveries you share, and you see theirs. If you have ever sent a friend a link saying "you have to hear this," Auralys is that habit turned into a proper network.
Reviews: rate and review every track
The Reviews feature is the heart of the app. Search for a track, listen, then leave your rating and a few words about it. Reviews from people you follow appear in your feed, so a song you have never heard of can reach you with a friend's honest opinion attached — which carries more weight than any algorithm's "you might also like." Over time your reviews build a public record of your taste that other users can browse, agree with, or argue with in the community.
Top Auralys: your own music ranking
Top Auralys lets you build your personal ranking of the tracks and albums that matter to you. Think of it as your all-time list, the one you would defend in an argument: your top songs, in your order. Rankings are shareable, so friends can compare their lists with yours, and the friendly disagreements that follow are half the fun. If you want the full walkthrough, read our post on how Top Auralys rankings work.
Quests: new music every day
Quests give you a reason to open Auralys daily. Each day brings small discovery tasks — listen to something outside your usual genres, review a track a friend shared, explore a new release. They are simple, but they break the habit of replaying the same twenty songs, and they feed your feed with fresh finds from the people you follow too.
Auralys Space: Music Roulette and Live Blind Test
Auralys Space is where the games live. In Music Roulette you create or join a game for 2 to 6 players and guess who a track belongs to — a track plays, and the race is on to name the artist before your friends do. Live Blind Test runs the same idea live: a blind listening test where everyone hears the same snippet and the fastest correct answer wins. These games turn a normal listening session into a contest, and they are the quickest way to find out which of your friends really knows their music. We explain both games in detail in our Music Roulette and Live Blind Test post.
Friday Drop and Clubs
Friday Drop is Auralys' weekly moment: the new releases of the week land on Friday, and the community rates and reviews them together while they are fresh. Clubs are groups built around a genre, an artist or a scene — join the ones that match your taste, post your discoveries, and debate albums with people who actually care. Clubs keep the community organised long after the Friday excitement fades.
How to join Auralys
Joining takes three steps. First, open the official site — our Auralys download and access page explains exactly how to get in safely. Second, tap "Create an account" and register. Third, follow a few friends, rate your first tracks, and your feed starts filling up. There is no app to install: Auralys runs in the browser, so the same account works on your phone and your computer. New here? Our getting started walkthrough covers your first day on the network.
Is Auralys a streaming app?
No, and that is the point. Auralys does not replace Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube. It is the social layer that sits on top of your listening: the place where you rate what you heard, rank your favourites, and talk about music with friends. You keep listening wherever you already listen, then bring your opinions to Auralys.
